The Learning Center at Cattail Creek
Cattail Creek is dedicated to investing in the development of its Junior Golfers. Clinics, camps, lessons and leagues begin at a very young age for boys and girls, and children can be found on the range and course at almost all times, learning by observing their parents play. Once reaching age 10 and passing a certification, Juniors may play alone or with other Member friends.
This indoor instructional facility, completed in the Summer of 2012, allows golfers to take year-round lessons from PGA Director of Instruction, Ricky Serrano. In addition to being an outlet for teaching and hitting, the building features state-of-the-art club fitting equipment, golf swing video analysis, a golf simulator, and much more that can be used to hone your golfing skills all year long, regardless of weather. Every year, the Club watches Juniors who have grown up at the Club, participate competitively in national junior tournaments, play for their high school teams and earn college golf scholarships. Most recently, Bennett Buch, finished with a two-day, 4-under-par 138 at the Maryland State High School Golf Championships!
